Why Ruby seems to fascinate so many people? - Jakob Westhoff

I played with ruby more then one time now. I never seemed to get fascinated by this language like other people I know and respect. Therefore I would love to see someone present to me what he/she thinks is what makes ruby cool. I would love to gather some insight into this and maybe get converted :)
